Clothing & Thrift Store
The Catholic Charities Thrift Store exists to serve families in need and it’s been a huge blessing to our clients. Individuals and families in crisis and in need of clothing can receive vouchers redeemable for items in the store. Clients may receive clothing vouchers every four (4) months. Just click here to learn more about what documents to bring with you when you visit. Homeless individuals may also receive clothing vouchers once per month.
In addition to being a resource for those in need, the Thrift Store is also open to the public and has a variety of offerings for any local shopper. From furniture to household items to décor and more – you never know what treasure you might find. All proceeds from the Thrift Store go directly to support the Social Service Programs of Catholic Charities.
Plus there’s more… the Catholic Charities Thrift Store also serves as a valuable job training program. Volunteers in our Thrift Store gain cashier and retail experience and so many more skills that they can take with them onto their next job.
Temporarily in response to COVID-19 pandemic, the Thrift Store is open Monday-Friday only from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. We are using the afternoons to sort and process all donations that are received.
Donations of gently used clothing, household goods and furniture are greatly needed and appreciated. If you have a donation of furniture, please call us at (559) 237-0851 to request a pickup.
