Merced Harvest of Hope

Merced Harvest of Hope

Last year, Catholic Charities of Merced served nearly 50,000 individuals – an 87% increase over the year prior! Of those served, only 11% are homeless which means that 89% are families who have fallen on hard times and are struggling to put food on the table at home.

Because of our generous Merced community, we’ve been able to provide food for these families at our site on Main Street five days a week. But we’ve also maintained our commitment to fulfilling service gaps in rural communities throughout the county by delivering food to Dos Palos, Los Banos, Planada and migrant camps in several communities through coordinated outreach events taking place each month.

Harvest of Hope is our largest annual event that enables us to continue serving families in the greatest of need throughout the entire year. The support from the single event allows us to purchase food, supplies, fuel, provide rental assistance, and so much more. It’s been two years since our last event and we have many exciting things planned that are sure to make this a very special evening.

Please contact Ashlee Wolf for sponsorship information at (559) 237-0851 or email awolf@ccdof.org. You can also click here to download an invitation. Several sponsorship opportunities are available, or you can purchase individual tickets at $100 a piece.

Remember all of the funds raised at the Merced Harvest of Hope stay in Merced County to support the programs and services provided to those in need. Thank you for your support!
