CalFresh Food Stamps
The CalFresh Program can add to your food budget by providing healthy and nutritious food for your family.
If you are experiencing financial insecurity, have lost your job, have been temporarily laid off, or are struggling to obtain necessary supplies, the CalFresh Program is a precious resource that helps put food on the table at home.
With the generous support of the Walmart Foundation, Catholic Charities offers application assistance to eligible clients for CalFresh benefits through a 10-minute application* submission offered at any of our three sites. No appointment is necessary! We can also assist with annual recertification.
CalFresh is California’s federal Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program-SNAP. SNAP, formerly known as food stamps.
*All approvals are through the California Department of Social Services (CDSS).
