 Disaster Case Management Specialist This position provides direct case management services to disaster survivors and their families through advocacy, information and referral, crisis intervention services, and recovery services. The DCMP provides long-term case management services to survivors of the Kern County Flood.

Under general supervision of the Program Manager, the Emergency Preparedness Educator (EPE) provides outreach, community education, and plan and lead creative workshops to the community of Kern County on how to prepare for earthquakes, floods, threat of wildfires, and public health or medical/health disaster/emergency response to support the Listos California education initiative.
Candidates with strong communication and leadership skills are highly desired. This worksite will be located in Bakersfield.

Under general supervision of the Site Director, the Cal Fresh Specialist is responsible for the overall Cal Fresh program. This includes but is not limited to establishing relationships with community partners, distributing outreach materials, tabling at community events, conducting training sessions and training individuals on Cal Fresh assistance, prescreening individuals, and completing approved Cal Fresh applications. In addition, the Cal Fresh Specialist will assist with Intake which includes but is not limited to greeting all clients in a respectful, dignified manner. This includes working with the Site Director, staff, and the Executive Director.
